"You" dropdown shortcuts not rendering Answered

I keep a shortcut to questions and answers in my 'you' dropdown top right of the page.

In my personal settings I have it set to still show those links, but with the new rendering of the you dropdown I have other stuff

Inbox (0)
Favourites
Instructables
Drafts
Create

...etc...

no shortcuts :(

"Shortcuts" has been added to the menu again. Seriously?

It went from
"a direct link at the top"
to
"a direct link within a dropdown menu"
to
"a direct link...HIDDEN IN A SUBMENU OF A DROPDOWN MENU".

...Anyone who is making decisions about how the site is coded -- take note of my attendance in the last month since the change...
I went from visiting dozens of times a day checking updates and new stuff...
to
logging in once a week and fumbling with the menus.

I'm not saying "change it because I don't like it".. .I'm saying "the site is annoying to use, and I'm voting to spend my internet time on sites that don't actively make my experience negative".

That shortcut link doesn't actually seem to be active?

If I click the You drop-down, then select Shortcuts, nothing happens.

if you click shortcuts it closes the menu; if you hover, it opens a menu beside showing the contents of my shortcuts selections.

Shortcut still works for me.

I personally use https://www.instructables.com/you/backtalk in bookmarks, FF and Chrome good.

I relied heavily on the dropdown, too. We have an update coming soon that will hopefully address this.

Yep, Looks like one of the recent updates did away with that.
To get to my image library I have to create a question, Instructable or comment and then not post it. No more customized dropdown (which makes the 'settings / customize' tab redundant).

I find it sad that this could be a mistake. I understand many sites have a goal when changing their site layout, but if I need to use an external website or bookmarks to find specific areas of a website I go to, then it's clear the new layout is broken and not very efficient.
