You is down Answered

Whenever I go to my You page, I get the "Instructables is down, watch this video, at least it's not velociraptors" page.

This only happens on my You page, all other pages (including editing) are working fine).

Happened last night using FireFox, and right now using IE.

Ahem. "You are down." Let's stick with the Queen's English, shall we? ;->

You're right. I is not down, but I do think _ is down (or at least horizontal :-).

I think you mean "you are down" :)

I get the same as Jayefuu, it loads slowly but does definitely load. Perhaps some problem with the script generating the page makes it load so slowly that it's considered to have timed out? Also when I open the you page there aren't comments there, just stuff you like/patches/recognition- are you going to a specific subpage?

I'm just going to the basic "You" page - if I jump directly to my comments, inbox etc, they are fine.

When you check my page, you are going to www.instructables.com/member/kiteman, which is different to my You page.

(Compare the difference - if you go to www.instructables.com/member/PKM, you will see something different to what you see when you go to www.instructables.com/you.

You is down, but I is not.

In other words, it works for me.

Slowly I'm used to (it's the gazillion comments), but I get a long pause, then the down page.
