Like DJ said, it really depends on your religion, your race, and where you're from. I currently live in America, the same place I was born. Even though I live in an American society, I also had grandparents that were full-blood Cherokee Indians, my relation with them is that I carry their Indian heritage. I do speak English, but I also have a very hard time understanding what people are trying to say. America is not as bad as you think it is. It's peaceful, you have more freedom in America than you do anywhere else. The laws are greatly enforced, there's less crime, and you're alot safer in America. I must warn you though that there are some places where there is gang activity going on. People who live where gang wars break out all the time get killed everyday, in large numbers.

I don't think that the USA is any free-er in real terms than many other countries. You should travel more and find that out for yourself.

That really depends on the region.  Name a region and I'll try my best to explain it with cliched stereotypes and subtle jokes and sarcasm.

Do you mean the country (the United States of America), or one of the two continents, North America or South America?

The country is as large as Europe, with more geographical variety than in Europe, so you would be better off going to your library and reading actual books (OMG!  What button do I press to turn the page?!?).  Each of the two continents is even larger, with even more variation.

...more geographical variety....

I wonder about that. Europe covers more latitude than the USA. I think we're missing subtropical, but we've got arctic.

.  If you count Alaska, we've got Arctic (and more latitude).

Americans do take up more real estate. Obesity is becoming a problem.

When you say "what america is like" you need to be a bit more specific.
Do you need information on the country, people, our ways of doing things, travel here in the US, or something else?  You will find a lot of real good people here who will aid you, just ask.

Sorry, that is American humour.  The link above is to the C.I.A., the American spy agency.

Are you planning a visit or is there something specific you want to ask about? The United States of America is pretty large and encompasses various types of terrain and peoples.
