just found this in my stuffs. Scavenged from an old photocopier years ago,

any use to it? like using it for a sort of battery indicator displaying in percentageX10^-2

Well the IC is serial in parallel out driver nice pic by the way.

You can get the datasheet for the BA823 IC here:

You can find the pin outs of the circuit board by following this Instructable:

https://www.instructables.com/id/Reverse-Engineering-1/

And then you can make any thing that uses a 7 segment display.

It can be used for any kind of 8 segment display you may have need for. Just a matter of connecting it to a micro controller to run it. Just look up the spec sheet for the IC there.
