are there really small high tension springs? Answered

im gonna build some wings... and need some tension springs to hold them up...but all the ones are either just hobby lightweight ones...or giant ones... help! thanks.

Google "buy springs". You can find ANY size and strength you need.

My local Sears Hardware has a section with many, many types of springs (expansion/contraction, weak to really strong, with way to many sizes to try to describe). Couldn't hurt to give a look if you have one nearby.

If you are looking for a small spring the spring from a pen works great. I have used it for a smaller spring in a paintball gun.

Generally you will find that multi strands of elastic (bungy strap) will be lighter and stronger than springs unless they are specially made for the task.
