So.... 3 goes into 12, 4 times.... 4 X 3 = 12..... bring down the 3.... 3 goes into 3 one time.... 3 - 3 = 0Answer is 41

I am trying to remember what grade we learned that in. But I was so small I can't exactly place it. I think it was right after we learned how to multiply.
