I use Firefox on my Mac and i stopped using IE in my school laptop and went to firefox, but this has never happened to me. What version are you running? You might need to upgrade. Or reinstall it. Vista can do that.

I'm running the latest version. I'm just going to deal with it until a new version of firefox comes out, then I'll upgrade. if it still does it, then I'll reinstall. if that doesn't work, I'll switch to opera or google chrome. (but I'll NEVER go back to IE.)

I sometimes use my mom's computer for convenience because it's in the other room, whereas my computer is in the basement, but it ends up being less of a convenience when IE crashes from having three tabs open.

I know the feeling. The school doesn't like us using Firefox at school because the LAN relies on IE, but screw them. It works better.

firefox portable. goes on a flash drive, history and everything. they never know it was there. or opera portable, if you so wish.

No, they put it on our laptops to use at home so we don't have to change the proxy settings, but we just change the settings so we can use it on the network.

Yep I get the whole screen doubled up though, I think there's quite a few site problems at the moment.

well, not just this site. any flash stuff, actually. and it flickers between that and normal, so it's pretty irritating.
