hOW DO i MAKE AN APRON THAT USES ONE TIE ONLY? Answered

My daughter would like an apron that has only one tie threaded through the apron--I know sounds strange, but she saw one and loves them. Thanks, reets

Check out my latest instructable about how to do this with Duct Tape. The same principle applies for sewing an apron with a completely adjustable one-tie atrap. I hope the illustrations (check out step 3) make it clear!

Is this having a single tie string instead of two that come off the sides? I guess you would just have a long strap or tie fixed at one end, have an adjustable sliding buckle to adjust the length of the strap and then have the free end that you button up to a button hole on the other side of the front. Or use velco/snaps or any other type of fastener. You can keep the strap long and then pass it through a big hole and have it velcroed against itself. Good luck.
