Search Instructables for WiFi antennas. Wireless routers use the microwave band 2400 MHz (5 inch wavelength) while cell phones use a variety of UHF frequencies. If the router's frequency is close to a whole-number multiple of your cell phone's frequency (for example, 800*3=2400), it should work without much effort. If not, the antenna might require a slight adjustment.
