As has been said, you have to rotate your images before you upload them. By far the easiest way to do this without opening up your main graphics software is with the Image Resizer Powertoy Clone which adds resize and rotate to the right-click context menu (i.e. right-click on the image file and select "rotate clockwise", "rotate anticlockwise" or "resize"). Job done!

Are you serious? The imaged are the correct orientation when I look at them on my computer, I upload them and they're not! a simple rotate 90 in the library would be beneficial.
