how do you make a laser beam combiner? Answered

im trying to combine a red and green to make yellow

Do you mean a real yellow laser, or something that looks yellow ? Adding red and green lasers together will only give the appearance of yellow, which is fine if that's what you want. Combining lasers is very difficult if you want a precision result.

well i only want to make the yellow colour because its much cheaper than buying a yellow one. it also gives you the option to change between yellow, green and red. its going to be placed in a laser spirographg by the way

How tight do you actually want the beams ? What kind of power have you got to deal with.

ive been asking a guy who made the 7 colour laser optic machine and he told me i could find a beam splitter cube in a laser disk drive. but the thing i want to do is just make a yellow or orange dot at the end of the beam and nothing too fancy
