how to decorate metal card holders? Answered

I want to decorate metal credit card holders, but I have no idea how to get started or what to use on them. Can anybody help please!

thanks to everyone who helped me. i found the products i need to create my craft. ill be posting a video on how i made them to help out someone who could use it

what adhesive would i use if any to ensure the enamel i use will stay.. if that make any sense. : /

thanks sooooooooo much everyone!  i have seen some with paint i think. its glossy are different colors. im not sure what that is.

In addition to the other suggestions: Glue semiprecious stones to them, solder wires on in a decorative pattern, etch them with acid, sandblast patterns into them, gold leaf them. Maybe just wander around your local art/craft shop and see what techniques look interesting to you.

I have used a CD label maker to make some labels for an aluminum face plate.
I printed the designs I wanted on the label, cut it to the appropriate sizes and stuck them to the aluminum. I then gave the face plate several light coats of a clear, satin finish polyurethane.  I was quite pleased with the finished product. I don't see why a similar method wouldn't work for your project.

Paint. Engraving. Punch work. Scroll work. Enamel. Embossing/debossing. Any combination of the above.

Decide what you want them to look like, then make them look that way.

Well you could use stickers.  But I don't think thats what your looking for.  You need to get some paint made to be used on metal.  You probably will need to sand the metal first to remove any gloss that had been put on to add shine or prevent rusting.  And depending on what your wanting to decorate it with, spray paint and stencils would be a neat choice.
