how to eject tape on canon camcorder zr65? Answered

canon zr65 mini dv camcorder won't eject. Tape cassette come out half way then stops, and goes back in.

It sounds like something is blocking it. Make sure there is nothing foreign in and around the camera, and make sure the outer door opens up completely. If it's an actual camera problem, you may have to tear it apart to get the tape out. If that's the case, it may be more beneficial to put in a new tape, keep dumping the footage out to your computer and use the tape 3-4 times before tearing the camera apart for a new tape. If you use it too much, you'll start to see dropouts and such from the tape wear.

Sound idea, but what if the cassette obstructs the problem?

I've sometimes seen things like this when a camcorder wasn't fully charged...
