how to prepare gorgeus appetizer for a party? Answered

I want to prepare good looking but cheap appetizer for the happy hour in my bar! I don't wanna offer only chips and peanuts!


What do most people drink in your bar, and how much (it does make a difference)? L

uhm they drink spritz...don't know if you know this drink...(1/3 "prosecco", 1/3 aperol, 1/3 seltz) or beer, or "campari with white wine", or martini...classical pre-dinner drinks...

OK so they're not really beer-swillers. How about small open sandwiches? Or maybe toast / crostini / bruschette? Bread is cheap and filing, the topping gives you a lot to play with and it isn't hard. (The advantage of cooking bread is that it won't dry out and curl-up at the edges)

are you a bar and grill? many snacks go great grilled, plus if your a bar, a grill just makes things better. Fruit, shrimp, shish-kabobs, all make great snacks. Even have a "variety platter" set out, customers assemble their own kabobs, and hand them over to get grilled.

I tried to offer fruits, but clients wants somehing salted... ehmm...sorry for my english XD I'm italian!

hmm, shrimp are nice 'n salty, what about cuts of deli meat?
