Not impossible that the flash memory has failed - only option is to change the chips, and hope you can reprogram them

You need to take the file apart and see how .rsp files are made, and then you'll probably have to turn it into a .hex file for an EPROM programmer with the right drivers for your FLASH chips.

If the drive fails it's a bit late to image the drive. Even if you did you would have a currupted image that wouldn't work.

I dunno. There might be a way to reimage it over a parallel port cable. I remember doing this for a wt3360se with a tool called "xfer" which had to be run on a machine running MS-DOS. If I remember the version of this tool I found was bundled with a working version of MS-DOS into a iso for a bootable CD, so that one could just burn that iso to a CD. Then use that CD in an old computer, booting from the CD, to get set up to use this "xfer" tool.

Searching, just now, I found "xfer" here:

http://www.freewysemonkeys.com/modules.php?name=Do...

But I don't recall the place where I found xfer and MS-DOS bundled into a bootable CD-image.

Also this site,

http://winterm.gaast.net/main.php/news.html

might have mentioned something about the reimage-over-parallel-cable trick, because I was trying to reimage my wt3360se with a version of Linux instead of WinCE, or whatever it is those things usually run.
