iPod Harddrive ?? Answered

I have a 30 gig iPod hard drive (just the hard drive...nothing else) is there any way I can wire it up so I can use it a a portable hard drive or something? Or should I just throw the thing away?

Oh...... then that probably will not work with a CF card reader. Uhh... sell it on eBay?

No! Don't throw it away! I actually made in instructable on what you should do with it. Get a CF card reader, as detailed in the following instructable.

That is the smartest thing that I've ever heard anyone say ever. I'm going to get like a 30 gig harddrive for cheap now and do this I gave you 10 stars!

wait a minute, does this only work with the ipod mini microdrive, or can you use stuff like the bigger ipod's 30 gig drive?

I am not 100% sure. I am unsure of the size of the 30GB harddrive.
