instructables is down when using firefox Answered

When using firefox 20.0 on a macbook pro i get the message
"Instructables is experiencing technical difficulties! We're terribly sorry about this and we're doing our best to fix it. We'll be back online as soon as we can."
However if I use Safari on the same computer at the same time the web site works, but the upload button doesn't work as the plug in  says its blocked.
I will try fix at this end and upload a screen shot.

Ok so I updated to firefox 22.0 and it all seems to work now, that is a very strange bug.

I ran into a similar issue today where all of a sudden I couldn't use the site on Firefox but could on Chrome. I deleted my APPSERVER cookie and cleared my cache and that seemed to do the trick. If you run into it again, see if you can get the APPSERVER Cookie number.

Try deleting your cookies and cache and see if that does the trick!

HI, Thanks for the tip. Yes I do that every day and sometimes multiple times, but in my case it does not seem to affect it.

That sometimes happens when you have an old cookie from the last time you logged in, or having a browser add-on that stops the page from loading completely. You can try

Disabling any script blocking add-ons to your browser, like Ad-Block, GreaseMonkey, or LastPass
Making sure you have cookies enabled for your browser
Clearing your browser's cache

After, refresh Instructables.com and try logging in again.
