is it possible to produce very high voltage from a single transformer which having very low input in primary side and large number of windings in secondary? why not?

Yes. A car ignition coil takes 12 volts and makes it into 10-20 kv. You have to use a/c or chopped d/c. Smooth d/c won't work.

Well ! it is possible but you have not clarified if it is DC or AC volt. It is very easy if it is AC. If it is DC then you you have to convert this DC into AC - apply this AC to primary side of transformer - convert AC you get from secondary to DC - you are done.
Just as Re-design said a practical example is Car ignition coil. Other example is Mosquito bat. A small rechargeable battery voltage is converted into high voltage to supply wire mesh where mosquito get electrocuted due to high voltage.
