is there a way to end a process that you are denied access to? Answered

I vowed to my engineering teacher that I would, eventually, figure out how to get around the program he uses to control and lock our computers. he knows I wouldn't use it for bad things (ie using my computer while he's talking) but I just want to try to do it. does anybody know how to end a process, even after it says "access is denied"?

Do I know ways? Yes.

Will I tell you? No.

for some reason, the computers in that room are screwy and the program no longer exists on that computer. imagine that. I didn't notice until everyone else's computer turned blue with the word eureka on it and I was still merrily editing a word file.

I can't find it. I mean, I found things, but it was mostly either code (I have no use for that, I don't know where to put it) or some guy who has so many mispellings that it's less of a how- to and more like gibberish.

You need to dig deeper. Find out where to put the code. Change your search terms. Research is a useful skill. :)

I'd guess this loads from a network drive off a network log-in, so you really don't have (m)any options if you're using the network log-in.

If we tell you that would be cheating.  You have to figure it out for yourself.  You told you teacher that YOU would figure out a way.
