A long time ago they used to power generators in remote farm areas using cars. They would put the drive wheels up on supports and then use a wide belt that wrapped around the car tire and the shaft of the generator. Crude but effective. Tractors were even made with "PTO" drive belt pulleys because that is how a lot of things were powered. Small saw mills were powered using this method. You may still find old relics in some rural places. Rusty 4 and 5 foot diameter circular saw blades are sometimes all that is left. Early farmers used the trees on their property and power from their cars to build the buildings they needed.
Just don't and try to use the engine alternator as the only power source. They do provide some but they are not designed to harness the main engine power to make electricity. For that you need something that can run from the engines crank shaft or from a transmission shaft.

What kind of load please.

Generators and alternators are around 60% efficient. To be safe 2 hp for every 746 watts.

The rest is a motor mounting.

Attach a large generator to the drive shaft. With the right regulation circuits and breakers you can get mains power directly.

Attach many alternators to the drive shaft to charge a large bank of batteries. Then use an inverter to give you the mains power you need.

Build your own generator with magnets spinning in many coils of wire. Wired in faze to generate the power needed to charge a large bank of batteries and so on.

Look around for instrucatble about using alternators or making your own generator for use with wind or water turbines. The same principles there can be used with your engine.
