what do you mount the solar cells to in the frame to support them without breaking? Answered

I see you need spacing between your cells and the frame the cells are encased in. So what do you use after you have strung all the cells together and before it is mounted in the frame?

I made a small panel years ago. 1 sheet plexiglass. 1 thin layer of packing foam. It is uniform and white and just a little soft. 1 more sheet of plexiglass to cover cells on foam. Can use foil to connect back sides of cells with no soldering. Iss Goood ?

The ones on my roof have little clips that slide along the frame.
