Wanted breeding pair of common newts for large allotment garden with 4 ponds
Patience . . . . . . They will pass by, and if they like your pond, they will stay; quite likely they will breed. I'm about to dig a hole for a new pond and really hoping to get great crested newts] breeding in it. I know we've got them in the area as I rescued 2 from an old watering can last year.

Did you want them newt-ered? Sorry.
If you're in the UK, you can't - newts are protected, so that you need a license to relocate them. However, there are clubs and organisations that could point you in the right direction.
