The Puzzles and Games Contest challenges you to create a puzzle or a game that brings joy, tests minds, and engages players like never before.
From the intricate artistry of hand-crafted jigsaw puzzles, the thrilling complexity of escape room designs, the engaging narratives of board games, to the immersive worlds of digital games, we welcome all forms of gaming and puzzling brilliance. This contest is for inventors, creators, and dreamers who have a passion for play. We're seeking entries that demonstrate originality, creativity, and a knack for designing compelling challenges.
Remember, the most engaging games aren't always the most complex, and the most intriguing puzzles aren't always the largest. What truly matters is the thought, passion, and creativity that you infuse into your creation.
There's a special Judges Prize up for grabs specifically for a student created entry (ages 13 and over, open to those enrolled in school or homeschooled). Make sure you specify your School and Age to qualify for the Judges Prize.
Requirements
Make a puzzle or game.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between May 20, 2024 and Jul 15, 2024 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Puzzles and Games Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
