Introduction: [blog 2006-02-28] RSS Feeds
You can get an RSS feed of new projects from:
https://www.instructables.com/ex/y/process/rss.xml
You can get an RSS feed for any tag with:
https://www.instructables.com/tag/LED/rss.xml
(replace 'LED' with the tag of your choice)
You can get an RSS feed for a user with:
https://www.instructables.com/ex/u/dan/rss.xml
(replace 'dan' with the user of your choice)
Other areas of the site may be feedable as well - try appending 'rss.xml'
For multiple tags at once:
https://www.instructables.com/tag/led/graffiti/rss.xml
to use both the 'led' and 'graffiti' tags.

I really miss the Instructables Rss feeds. Will these be coming back any time soon?

Thanks so much! I recommend using https://zapier.com/ for managing the feeds and doing something when a new item is added to the feed!

I had Instructables set up in my RSS feeder but for some time now they have not worked. I get an HTTP code 404 when I try to load them. Does Instructables still support RSS? I get that impression from
https://www.instructables.com/you/settings?modify=FEEDKEY but maybe that's just dead legacy code...?

I wish I could get the RSS feeds for "popular" and "featured," but without all the recipes.
Well, what I *actually* wish is that there was an entire separate site for food and beverage stuff, but I realize that might not be popular. There are *tons* of sites for recipes and cooking techniques, but they just seem so out of place here.

Any way to get new contests as a feed. So that we could be notified as soon as possible when there is a new one to get workin on...
Adding rss.xml didnt work... (https://www.instructables.com/contest/rss.xml)

Hi!
For instructables obsessed out there... In case you're wondering, "can I monitor these feeds using my phone, maybe with text messages?" - yup sure can.
I've built a little website that lets you do just that. Try it out, let me know what you think! Link: Greg's Pulse
