Introduction: ★ 7 DAYS PRAYER CANDLE (from Beer Bottle) ★

I love 7 days prayer candles!
And I like this one even better because is completely made from scraps, and you don't need any tools to make it!

And is a really nice candle because it last long time and is wind proof!

Step 1: WHAT YOU NEED

 To cut the bottle:
 -a string,
 -alcool,
 -a lighter,
 -a bucket full of water and ice.

For make the candle:
 -a beer bottle,
 -scraps pieces of candles (one should be tall like the candle you are going to make),
 -pan,
 -long toothpick,
 -small paint brush and glass varnish (make sure is heat proof),
 -sanding paper,
 -gloves, gas mask and safety glasses,
 -paper, pencil and tape,
 -flat pliers (only sometimes).

Step 2: CUT THE BOTTLES

-Deep the string in alcohol;
-tie the string around the bottle, where you want it to be cut;
-light up the string for few second;
-dunk the bottle in ice cold water.

It take to me 3 bottle before I made one that broken up well.
 First time I didn't let burn the string enough, so nothing appen, second time for too long and it crack the bottle vertically too, third time it finally worked out, but I needed to remove a little spike of glass with a pair of flat pliers.

Use glows, safety glasses and be really careful.

Step 3: SMOOT THE EDGES

Whit a coarse-grained sanding paper smooth out the edges of the cut bottle.

Be careful, wear a gas mask and gloves, the dust of the glass is really bad for you.

Do not reuse the sanding paper, just trow it away when you are done.

Step 4: PAINT THE BOTTLE

-Find a draw you like or make one on a piece of paper;
-stick it inside of the bottle with a piece of tape;
-paint the bottle with the glass varnish.

Remember to don't use the same color of varnish and wax, otherwise you will not able to see the drawing really well.

Step 5: MAKE THE CANDLE

-Melt the wax;
-pure the wax in the cut bottle;
-put a long toothpick in the wick of a longer candle and put it in the middle of the bottle full of wax (cut the candle of the right       length).

Step 6: DONE!

When the wax cool down remove the toothpick from the wick.
Light it up and you will see the bottle get all illuminated and the image stand out really well, it look really cool!
