Introduction: Switch on Reminder - $0 Project #3
The right switch on the photo controls a wall socket which is power socket of a desk lamp. Since no other socket close to the desk, my daughter's computer use this socket too.
When she use her computer, this switch must keep on. But sometimes my wife made mistake, she cannot remember which switch should keep on, always confuse the right one or the left one?
My daughter found a good way to remind her mam. She hanged a used pen on the switch with rubber band. If turn off the switch, this pen will slip down. After that, it never happened mistake turn off again.
Since it is very simple, use free office material and no tool is necessary, I believe it is helpful for the people who want to keep a switch on for some time.
