Introduction: 10 Minute Paracord Hammock
This is a good project to do just in time for father's day. If youjust have a tarp laying around and some paracord then you can make a quick and easy hammock.
Step 1: Materials
Materials -
About 7 feet of paracord*
Ground Tarp
About ten minutes
*Cut the paracord into three 4 inch pieces. Take the remainder of the paracord and cut it in half.
You should have Three 4 inch pieces and 2 3 foot pieces.
Step 2: Prep of the Tarp
To prep the tarp all you need to do is fold the tarp in half and tie the open ends together with a square knot.(use the four inch pieces for joining the 2 sides.) Then tie a two half hitch at both of the corners.(Using the 3 foot pieces.)
Step 3: Assembly
take the corners and roll the sides together. Remember those 3 foot strands of paracord hanging from the corners, right? Use those to tie the ends together. Do the same on the other side and on both sides leave 3 inches of paracord so you ca attach a carabiner. Tie the carabiner on.
Step 4: Feedback
Now what are you waiting for? go out and use that bad boy. And also tell me how you did and post pictures of yours in the comments box below.

I know it has been a while since you posted this but you shouldnt use just any old carabiner. i should be rated for climbing so it doesnt fail when you sit in the hammock
