15 Minute Brick Supply Holder
Intro: 15 Minute Brick Supply Holder
I have all these small supplies, but where oh where do I put them all? I'm too broke to purchase a glorious supply organizer.
My old containers keep breaking and I lose my stuff! What a sad day for creativity.....
If only I had a heavy-duty supply holder made out of a brick or something with conveniently drilled holes to store them all....Hmmmmm....

STEP 1: Gather Your Resources.
1) Brick.
2) Drill
3) Pencil
Better write this list down before you forget.

STEP 2: Step 1: Find Your Brick
You can buy one at the store, but it will never have as much character as one that has been used. I found mine on the street. There are plenty of bricks wherever there is any sort of industrial activity going on. :)
STEP 3: Step 2: Drop It on the Ground
Not on your foot.
STEP 4: Step 3: Identify Your Favorite Piece
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.
STEP 5: Mark It Up
With your pencil. You write with the lead part facing down.
STEP 6: Drill Your Holes
Drill using a small masonry bit first - once you have that hole drilled in, you can use it as a guide for your larger hole. HOLEy moly this step was easy! Eh Eh Eh?
STEP 7: Use It!
Wow! Look how free my hands are now! And I didn't have to purchase an organizer to do it! So glad I don't have to carry all these tools around anymore! Now what do I do about this brick....

With a few extra touches (felt on the bottom to prevent scratches, a layer of some sort of matt varnish to prevent dust) this would make a perfect gift for Father's Day, or Christmas, from an impoverished offspring.
