Intro: $18.38 Wax Seal Designed U.S.B

This tutorial is about how to create a wax seal design usb.

I made this instructable because I had an idea to decorate my usb using wax seals.

STEP 1: What You Need Is:

1 wax sealing stamp.

1 wax sealing stick.

1 usb.

STEP 2: Step 1

Burn the wax stick with a torch and let it drip on the usb

STEP 3: Step 2

Use the sealing stamp and stamp gently on the wax and wait for it to cool.

STEP 4: Final Product

Now you have a wax seal design on your usb enjoy.

I don't want to break the "be nice" policy here but how could this be front page featured?

He/she found a picture of the wax seal usb designed by a Marlies Romberg from Holland (The Netherlands), her website is here: http://www.marliesromberg.nl/ (when you click on the front picture you'll see that the picture that is shown then is the same as he/she uses.)

And I don't think your her to be honest (judging by the turkish flag).

And other then that it's just a simple paint drawing with one line of text...

So I find it really weird that someone would feature this but if there is something I'm not seeing here please tell me.

Michel

hi i know you were talking about the wax seal usb but... hey this is my first instructable so im making progress. btw the turkish flag was put becuz i was in turkey on a vaction and i forgot to change it. my drawings were simple because i forgot to bring my cam with me... this was just about sharing my thoughts in instructables and by time you will here from me soon... :)
Same here. According to the "Featuring Checklist", to be front page featured, "The intro image" Needs to be informative, clear and in-focus, and "every step has at least one paragraph of text".

This instructable has none of that, and none of most of the other things on that list for that matter. The only thing I can think of is it was featured by accident.

Thank you, I thought I was going crazy :p

I use that checklist all the time and now I see something like this that is basicly one of those "google found, paint drawn" picture ibles that aren't worth squat and then this get front paged...

I figure somebody would have indeed pressed the wrong button. I don't see any other explanation....
And... It's gone. That was fast!
Yeah it sure was! It was probably just a mistake but it's good that this was rectified fast. Otherwise people would start thinking that this was the way a good ible should be and that wouldn't have been good...
