Intro: 2 Minute Chocolate Cookies

A recipe I came up with for quickly making chocolate cookies in the microwave.

there are no image notes, for some reason they won't work, I might add some later if they start working.

STEP 1: Ingredients

you need:
1/2 cup of semisweet choc chips
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Butter
Flour (1/4 cup or so)
Microwave safe bowl
fork
plate w/ wax paper

STEP 2: Mix

Put the sugar, Chocolate, and butter in microwave safe bowl.

STEP 3: Microwave

put bowl in microwave, nuke it for about 1 min, or till mostly melted

STEP 4: Stir and Finish

Like the title says, stir. Make sure you mix it thoroughly. add flour and stir until the dough holds it's shape (while still hot).

When Finished mixing, shape the cookies into balls (or some other shape) and place on the wax papered plate. Eat hot or chill first.

STEP 5: Variations

You could probably use milk choc if you want, (I like the semi sweet), some vanilla might be good, using confec sugar instead of flour would make them sweeter, etc etc. please, if you have any ideas then comment and tell me.

mine turned out great! someone suggested that they should be cald fuge balls instead of cookies
Mine came out WRONG. LOL. It's like sand... and tastes funky... The dough never formed, and I used M&Ms instead of chocolate chips
Hmmm... M&M's instead of chocolate chips might be your problem...
lolz
I dont have chocolate chips. Is there a recipe that use cocoa powder?
O M G that is some pretty good stuff. the chocolate seized halfway through adding the confectioners sugar. after some research, (thanks google!) i found out that its called "icing sugar" here. (good thing i had some, i thought i was going to have to go to the store) but they still taste good, the white splotches didn't seem to affect the taste. as a garnish, i also put half of a peanut part on top
It depends on what size you make them, the size I make them I get about 9.
thank you i just made them they where awsome family enjoyed them and they where the esiest cookies ive ever made!
I really appreciate you taking the time to share your recipe! My son is starting his second year in the dorm and I'm always on the lookout for things he can whip up in the microwave. Also, I love to have a quick and easy treat when I rent a movie -- I'm looking forward to this one! (Your recipe will replace the cake box cookie dough recipe using a raw egg that I've been resorting to!)
looks like some sort of taco thing....
Those look good!
Can I clarify something before I try these? I can see that you are melting the ingredients that melt,-so they are kind of 'cooked', but I gather that the dry ingredient;-the flour is uncooked? Is that right? Given my prima donna digestive system nowadays, ingesting and absorbing uncooked flour might be a problem.
yes, the flour is uncooked. but you could use confectioners sugar instead.
Worth a shot, thanks.

They are a quick and easy way for a little bit of indulgence!
The only thing I might do differently is to use almond flour instead of white flour. The raw white flour taste can be a little 'blah' at times.
I know the idea is for ultra-quick cookies, but have you seen what happens if you actually bake these? You'd just need to put them on a baking sheet for maybe 10-15 minutes in a hot oven. Of course, if you like them gooey rather than baked then this sounds perfect, and there are a million* and one recipes for traditional ones anyway.

*Dramatisation- there may not actually be a million recipes
I don't eat them gooey (my sister does) I put them in the fridge to cool the melted ingredients.
What about the cooking? What's the microwave settings and time required?
(Maybe add a comment about different microwaves varying in power?)
