These are a couple of cheap ways to make a toy rc perform much better.

Step 1: Tape Drifting

wrapping masking tape or something similar around the wheels will make less grip and make it easier to do donuts and skid around corners. this is cheap and can be used on a variety of different cars and does not require any tools.

Step 2: Steering Angle

steering angle will greatly increase the space the car can corner in, making it a lot more fun.

to do this, you will need to take the body off and take out any screws in the steering assembly. make sure to take note of how it goes back together. then take the piece shown above, this will vary from car to car, and break off the two stoppers on each end. then reassemble and you will be good to go.

Step 3: Motor Replacement

this will require some soldering, but is arguably the best upgrade for a toy like this. first, disassemble the rear gearbox, which will be held together by screws or clips. then, unsolder the old motor from the wires. Then take the new motor and put the old motor gear on the axle. then reassemble the gearbox and solder on the new wires.
