STEP 1: Materials List
This is a list of materials needed:
5 inch pie pan
3/4G USB Modem
USB Cable
Duct Tape

STEP 2: Plug It Up First !
Plug the USB 3/4G Modem into the cable
STEP 3: Put Wireless Onto Pan
Place the wireless assembly directly in the center of the pan.
We used a pan with lines so it was easier to line up.

STEP 4: Apply Tape
Apply duct tape, and tape antenna directly to center of pan.
STEP 5: Optional - Apply Hook for Easy Hanging
get large paper clip.
Undo to make into triangle
use one peice of tape and attach clip to top of back of pan,
There you have it! You can hang it on a nail anywhere near
your computer and aim towards tower or window (in most cases)

STEP 6: Hang and Use !
Wow, your 3G/4G Wireless Booster is finished, and ready to use.

I'll try something like this with old, unused satellite TV dish: remove downconverter and put the modem in its place so that the built-in modem antenna will be in focal point. Of course I'll have to put the modem in a rainproof enclosure.

Modem could not connect and disconnect frequently
some times show USB not recognize.. then what can I do?

I would replace the USB wire as soon as possible. Sounds like it has a break some where in the line.

it is because there is no power on the cable, it is too long to get power over usb from a computer/laptop, try to use a usb power hub and will help. Anything over 5 m is losing signal.

This is for all the unlucky people still stuck on USB adapters. USB adapters have very low range antennas in them, and like mine just did not work well enought to stay connected. I researched , tested and released my own no power booster.
The booster increased DB 2-3 which made my link work well enough to email and download. Works on any USB adapter including Wimax, LTE , 4G , 3G, even 2G .

This will work with any wireless any "brand" and any frequency. Please post any mods or boosters you have made here !
