My project is a 3D model of a house. Trying to figure out what project I should do was kinda hard. I didn’t really have that many options, the other option was to make a 3D controller but someone else did it. I decided to make this my project because I was watching TikTok and seen a guy trying to sell a house, and thought make a 3D house would be pretty cool. The process of making this house wasn’t that hard. I just looked up different kinds of house and kinda model my house from the different houses I seen. I created this house the website called Onshape, and the websites was extremely easy to use which made the process easier. My main goal was to add lights to the inside to make the house light up, but I wasn’t able to get that far with this project.

Supplies

This website is called Onshape, this is where I created my 3D house. This website was very easy to use and made m process of making the house really easy.

Step 1: Ideas of What House Will Look Like

I had to look up different houses online to see how I could make my house. These two house above kinda helped me model my house. I take different elements of the 2 houses above and kinda came up with my own house.

Step 2: Creating the House

After looking at different houses to get ideas of how my house will be, I started to work on my house. The process was really good, but there was a few problems I ran into. Creating the roof was probably my hardest challenge. I had to use the different elements of the website to create my rood and fit perfectly on the base of my house. That was definitely my hardest challenge, everything went very smoothly.

Step 3: Parts

These 2 parts were going to help my house light up. I was going to connect the house to the brown and draw the wires through the holes I made on the brown board to connect to my red board.

Step 4: Arduino Kit

This was the Arduino kit I was going to use for the coding of my house. I was going to code for the leds to light up in the house, I was going to have 2 different leds in different windows. I had a switch that I could control what light i wanted to be on and off, and I would have done that with the coding this this Arduino kit.

Step 5: Finished Product

The main goal to add lights to this house, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get that far with this project. I did really have a lot of fun making this house. This was my first 3D printing and also using the Onshape website and I have learned a lot from this project. From coding, to using Onshape, and many other things.
