Introduction: 3D Printed 3D Printer (Anet A8)

About: BioAutomation researcher (it's like Biology but the boring lab manipulations are replaced by robots)

This model is an almost conform copy of the Unit A8, used to design mods/adaptors for the 3D printer. For instance, I designed a laser mount for this printer and I had to make many measurements. With an 1/1 "virtual" model, it will be much easier to work on this printer as all the dimensions are in my CAD software (Fusion360) and I can use the model as splitting tool.

Contact me if you want the F3D files to create your own stuff.

Step 1: Get the 3D Files

You can find the 3D files on my thingivierse : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3230073

Dont forget to scale down the model to 20%.

You should be able to print all the parts together (it took me 2h of printing with a Prusa I3 MK3)

Step 2: Glue the Pieces

You can refer to the 3D rendered model of the introduction t figure out how to match the pieces
