3D Printed In-desk Stand for Qi Wireless Charger

This instructable is for 3D printed enclosure for a cheap Qi wireless charger found on Banggood.

Nothing extra is needed.

Ok, a drill and large diameter circular saw bore is needed, and a 3D printer.

Step 1: 3D Print Files

download and print the parts.

Model consists of 3 parts.

Top plate, middle cylinder, and bottom part that also is used to place electronics.

Step 2: Assemble

Im sorry but images from assembly were lost but, its not difficult. All parts fit together in a logical order. And its kind of impossible to connect them otherwise.

Glue Qi wireless charger coil below top plate. Before gluing it there for ever check if Qi charger is working trough the plate.

Glue the top plate to middle cylinder. The middle cylinder will fit into the grooves on bottom of top plate. They are made slightly larger to offset different printers and should not be an issue once glued.

Now comes the slightly tricky part.

Use double sided sticky tape to stick electronics to the angled part of bottom part. Make sure that USB connector is pointed toward the bottom hole so the cable can be attached.

Bottom part is intended to be also glued in but I decided not to glue it so I can do maintenance if needed. Use sticky tape to stop it from falling out.
