Introduction: 3D Printed Iphone Case

Welcome to my first instructable post, Myself Mukesh I am a 3D designer and an AI student studying in Jain Deemed to be a university the 3d printed case for iPhone 11 and 12 models. In this post, I will go through the steps from the download, parse, and printing of the project.

The project was an inspiration by a previous phone case I found online from where I got inspired to make one in carbon fiber imbued printing which turned out to be great even being sturdy enough for day-to-day uses. I designed this case using Autodesk Fusion360. Do check out the steps and the file download details are explained below.

Supplies needed:

1) 3d printer any configuration

2) 0.3 mm nozzle

3) PLA any brand (carbon fiber optional)

4) sandpaper

5) screws

6) spray paint clear coat.

7) case resources file from cgtraders.

Step 1: Download and Parse

Download the file from cgtraders it costs 49$ it's a lifetime but you can reprint whenever you want except can't buy and resell the resource file.

Load the file downloaded into Ultimaker Cura

Step 2: Print the File

Loaded the file then slice it then put the file onto your sd card load it into your printer.

Once this step is completed you might have to wait for approx 9 - 10 hours based on your printer settings so get your cup of coffee and start the wait

Step 3: Clean and Arrange

Once the 6 hours have been completed take out the print and let it set and then after it has completed cooling you can continue removing the supports and cleaning with the sandpaper.

Spray paint it with a clear coat for protection and shine.

Step 4: Coat and Its Ready

Once the cleaning and the painting are done assemble both the pieces and then connect them using the screw.

After the entire process is completed use it like your regular case if you have used a cool colour it would turn out to be a great attraction
