Introduction: 3D Printed Mustache
One of the first thing I made at TechShop is this cool mustache. I created the 3d model using Rhino software and printed on Type A machine. This is an easy and fun project to do with kids or with friends.
I made this at TechShop. www.techshop.ws
Step 1: Create 3d Model
Using Rhino software, I created this 3d model of a mustache. First, I drew the outline of the mustache on plan. Next, I extruded the object to give its depth. I've included the STL file for your use.
Experiment with different shapes and have with it.

Step 2: Print
I used the Type A machine at TechShop. I converted the STL file into a gcode file using a free software KISSlicer. Next, I loaded the gcode file into Pronterface and set it to print. The model took less than 6 minutes to print. The process is quite simple and fun. Try testing out with other shapes.
