Introduction: 3D Printed Torsional Rubber Band Powered Car
This is a rubber band car for a school engineering project. The 3D files will require further machining in order to get the car running.
materials:
- 3D printer
- filament
- Lego axles, gears, stops, and holes
- hot glue
- drill
- Dremel
- 2 5x10x4 mm bearings
Step 1: Print
print off these three files
Step 2: (Not Required)
drill out all holes. 4 holes on either ends put legos holes over for more precise clearance
Step 3: Bearings
Drill out drive shaft hole to 10 mm, insert two 5x10x4 mm bearings.
Step 4: Drivetrain
use Lego axles, wheels, gears stops, and t brackets to complete drivetrain
Step 5: Add Body
