3D Printed Sprouting Plant Necklace

Step 1: You Will Need:

-3D printer (I don't own one, so I go to my local hardware store)

-Modeling software

-Soil (Literally about a pinch's worth)

-Seed

-String, Jewelry chain... (the length you want your necklace to be)

-Creativity!

Step 2: Model

Create a model of your choice (make sure it is hollow).

It can be based off a vase, an jar, or just an actual pot.

If you are really stuck you can use this one (not sponsored- I made my own but deleted it by accident after printing -I highly suggest you design your own)

*Tip* It will save you an unimaginable amount of time if you model your vase with two small holes at the back which you will thread your string through later. Like, you seriously don't want to attempt to pierce tiny holes through a tiny vase - trust me!

Step 3: Print!

The easiest but the hardest of steps!

Try to busy yourself with Netflix, internet, while the hours pass by...

Step 4: Plant Your Plant!

Thread your string through the two holes you've hopefully made, and test if it fits you.

Fill the mini-vase halfway up with soil, gently place your seed in, and "sprinkle" with some more soil.

Add water and let nature do what it does best.

Step 5: Congratulations!

If you have followed these steps well, you should now have a Eco-friendly, oxygen producing necklace!

It's a great addition to any look, and makes an amazing (and surprisingly cheap) gift!

I have about 3 different sprouts in my necklaces, and although they need an occasional trimming, I adore them!
