Introduction: 4 Brilliant Ideas From Plastic Bottles! Don't Throw Away Empty Bottles!!!

In this tutorial, we're excited to share 4 Brilliant Ideas for repurposing plastic bottles that will inspire you to get creative and reduce waste. Instead of tossing empty bottles into the recycling bin or trash, let's transform them into useful and beautiful items!

Step 1: Support From Plastic Bottle Lids for Toothbrushes

In this idea we'll show you how to create a practical and eco-friendly toothbrush holder using plastic bottle lids. Instead of tossing away plastic bottle lids, let's repurpose them into a useful organizer for your toothbrushes.

Materials Needed:

  • 7 medium-sized plastic bottle lids
  • 1 larger plastic bottle lid
  • Narrow tube (10-15 cm) (e.g., polypropylene pipe)
  • Hot glue gun

Using a sharp tool or drill, create holes in the center of 6 of the medium-sized plastic bottle lids. Ensure that the holes are large enough to accommodate the toothbrush handles.

Place the cover without the hole in the middle, but fix the 6 perforated covers on the sides with the help of hot glue!

Place the larger plastic bottle lid without a hole in the center of the stack. This will serve as the base of the toothbrush holder and provide stability.

Using hot glue, attach the narrow tube (polypropylene pipe) to the larger plastic bottle lid. Make sure it is securely attached and positioned vertically.

Once the tube holder is firmly attached, apply additional hot glue around the top of the tube, and fasten well to the 7 caps from the plastic bottles fixed inside - so that it is the upper part!

Allow the hot glue to dry completely before using your new toothbrush holder. Once dry, insert your toothbrushes into the holes, and enjoy the organized and clutter-free countertop!

Step 2: How to Make Rope From Plastic Bottles

I show how to make a simple device that cuts plastic bottles into a thin band/ribbon that can be used as a durable rope.

The plastic bottle cutter is very easy to make and perfect for reusing plastic bottles and turning them into useful plastic rope/string. Multiple strands can be woven together to make the rope even stronger. The plastic rope can then be melted down for a permanent hold.

The plastic rope has many practical applications and can be used for anything that would require a durable rope.

Step 3: How to Make Flower of Rope From Plastic Bottles
