Introduction: 2 Minute Bullet Needle Case

About: I enjoy making knifes, leather projects, amateur jewelry and what ever else I can get into! I also have a YouTube channel with other projects! Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee…
When I Got into leather work I bought a few needles then bought a few more and before I knew it I needed a needle case. So in this instructable I am going to tell you how to make a awesome and functional needle case in 2 minutes. Really!

Supplies

30-06 case (Recommend)
Or 30-30 case
9mm case

TOOLS
needle nose pliers

Step 1: Selecting a Cartridge

So the needle case I have been using for years is a 30-06 shell and it is really the best because it is a long shell which means longer needles. If you can get one I definitely recommend it but for this instructable I am using a 30-30 and almost all of my needles will fit. And for the lid I use a 9mm shell for both 30-30 and 30-06.

Step 2: Mushrooming the Tip

The first and really only step is to take your needle nose pliers put them into your shell and press then turn them and press till you have mushroomed out the tip evenly. Just make sure and test the cap to see if it fits. Then fill it up with needles put the 9mm shell cap on and your done! Now you could go a step further and polish it if you want but I personally like brass patina.
I hope you enjoyed this and make some they are extremely useful, cheap, easy, and they look great! If you have any questions please comment and thanks for reading my instructable.
