5 Twigs

This installation consists of 5 found twigs that were three dimensionally scanned and then printed in translucent plastic. Each original twig was then mounted in opposition to its artificial counterpart.

Step 1: Scanning the Twig

Each of the 5 collected twigs were laser scanned.

Step 2: 3D Model

A three dimensional model was created from each twig scan.

Step 3: 3D Printed

The twig models were then printed in abs like translucent plastic.

Step 4: Display

Each of the 5 printed twigs were mounted opposite the original twig and displayed on the wall.
