5 Minute Bead Earrings

Intro: 5 Minute Bead Earrings

Things Needed : Beads of your choice ( 7 small and 7 large sized, 1 large for center), thread, needle, scissors and earring hooks.

STEP 1:

Thread the needle and make a knot at the end of your string.

Pass the needle through the beads starting from a small bead then a large bead and the sequence goes on till you have 7 large and 7 small beads

STEP 2:

Form a full circle by passing the needle through the first bead closer to the knot (this is your starting point) pass the needle through all the beads (3 beads at a time) until you reach your starting point again. If you feel that your circle of beads is not held tight enough then pass the needle through all the beads again by passing the needle through 3 beads each time until you reach the end.

STEP 3:

Now thread a larger bead than the rest of the beads and note that it should fit into the center hole of your earring.

pass your thread through the larger bead and then through the opposite bead that your needle meets and again pass through all the small beads and then the large bead in the center and again through all the smaller beads.

STEP 4:

To tie a knot pass your thread through a small bead and then without moving to the next bead bring back your needle and pass through the same bead forming a small loop on the bead and pass you needle through this loop to form a knot repeat this process thrice and trim off the excess thread.

STEP 5:

Finish making your earring by connecting the earring hook.

You can make several varieties of earrings by this method.
