Introduction: 6 Layered Rainbow Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting
I am going to give you step by step instructions for a 6 layered rainbow cake
2 cups of whole milk, room temperature.
12 large egg whites, room temperature.
2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
4 1/2 cups cake flour or bleached flour.
3 1/2 cups sugar.
2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons baking powder.
2 teaspoons of salt.
24 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into 24 pieces and softened.
Food dye (Red, Orange, Yellow, green, blue, and purple)
Cream cheese frosting
1 cup butter, softened
1 pound cream cheese
8 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon and
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step 1: Step 1
Adjust Your oven racks to lower middle and higher middle. Set the oven heat to 350.
Grease 2 9in pans and line with parchment and flour.
Step 2: Step 2
whisk Together 2 cups of hole milk, 12 egg whites and 2 teaspoons of vanilla together in a bowl. Using standard mixer fitted with paddle Mix 4 1/2 cup of flour ,3 1/2 cups of sugar, 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of baking powdered and 2 teaspoons of salt. Mix on low speed until combined. Add 24 tablespoons of buter 1 tablespoon at a time And mix until only pea sized pieces remain. Then add half of the milk mixture and increase the speed to medium high. And be onto white and fluffy about one minute. Reduce speed to medium low data remaining ulcer and be on to Inc. about 30 seconds batter made it look slightly curled give better final stir by hand.

put about 1/6 of the batter in in the 9in pans. Put a different color on each pan. Put the pans in the oven for 22 minutes. Wen the cake is done take it out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan then repeat until you get all of the colors. I let my cake cool over night but you don’t have to.
Step 4: Step 4
Beat 16 tablespoons of softened butter and 1 cup of cream cheese until well blended.
Add 4 cups of powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla beat until creamy.
Putt icing in between layers and around the cake
