9 Volt Nerf Barricade Gun Mod Easy

This instructable will show you how to make  your plain Nerf barricade shoot harder and faster.



note The  idea for this project came  from a Youtube video but i tweaked the design and made it much better.

Step 1: What You Will Need

YOU WILL NEED:
1. 9 VOLT BATTERY 
2. SPARE WIRE
3. YOUR BARRICADE
4. TAPE  (OPTIONAL BUT HELPFUL)

Step 2: Tools You Need

1. Dremel and safety glasses or improvised cutting device
2.Phillips head screwdriver

Step 3: Goodbye 4.5v Hello 9v

1.take off the cover and remove batteries.

Step 4: Start Cutting

since the 9 volt battery will not fit we need to start cutting. Cut the top of the BATTERY CASE until the end of the battery fits in the case.
Look at pics.

Step 5: Add Wires

Attach the wires. Remember which is positive and which is negative.

Step 6: ASSEMBLE

place the battery in the case and attach the negative wire to the negative terminal and vice versa. GET THE POLARITY RIGHT Replace the battery cover. It will bulge out a bit 

Step 7: Done

test it out it should shoot farther and faster
