A Clay Tribal Mask

I made a paper clay tribal mask. I made this as an assignment for my Creative design course.

Supplies

Paper Clay, Clay carving tools, Newspaper, Watercolour, Paintbrush.

Step 1: Flatten the Clay

First flatten out the paper clay.

Step 2: Making the Shape

Using the newspaper mold give the mask the face shape.

Step 3: Adding Features.

Add details to the face. We use clay tools to do this.

Step 4: Paint It!!

First, apply a coat of primer after it dries, paint the mask.
