Intro: A Different Pepsi Challenge

What will happen if you drop 2 unopened cans of Pepsi (1 regular, 1 diet) into a pool of water? Will they both sink or both float? The answer may surprise you!

This instructable will show you the setup of this simple, yet possibly surprising "challenge." The few items you'll need, a display of the experiment, and the answer to the question above are all shown in the video. The brand of cola that is put to the test is irrelevant. Try it with any kind!

Its the sugar in the regular that gives it more weight (compared to the artificial sweetener in the diet). Got to love Imponderables :D.

Yah, the regular has more density because of the sugar :)

Freaky! So the diet one floats, cause it doesn't have tons of sugar making it less dense.
