Introduction: A Fringe Fleece Hat
A kid friendly fleece hat.
Step 1: Materials Needed
You'll need:
Fleece Fabric
Matching Thread
A Pair Of Scissors
A Sewing Machine
Step 2: Cut the Fabric
With the fabric folded, cut a piece 11 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches long. (If you unfold your fabric, it would be a piece that is 23 inches wide and 24 inches long) For smaller heads, cut a shorter width.
Step 3: Sew the Fabric
Sew the fabric so that right sides are together, sew on the 12 inch side. Turn the fabric right side out.
Step 4: Cut the Fabric Strip
Cut a strip of fabric that is 1 1/2 inches in length by 24 inches wide.
Step 5: Tie the Top
Bunch together the top 3 inches of your hat. Tie the strip around the base of the bunch. Be sure to tie tightly and to double knot.
Step 6: Cut the Fringe
Cut strips through the top 3 inches of your hat making a fringe. Fluff your fringe!
Step 7: Enjoy!
Enjoy wearing your hat!

Wow! It's super easy. My kids (7 and 9) made it mostly by themselves. I just helped them use the sewing machine. My kids say it's easy.
