Intro: A Garden Story

These are pictures of my garden(s)...it has been a beautiful spring and I think that is reflected in these photos.  I am always amazed at how things grow, it seems there is always something happening that you didn't anticipate, and is always a pleasant surprise.  Enjoy!

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder how long it took you to grow this

Beautiful garden!

Thank you, that was a very good year!

ow my liltle garden is bad compared to your have you tried jackbines there great flowers they grow well in tropical climates
Being from SoCal originally, nad now liviing in Wisconsin, I was happy to see the bouganviellia (sp?) and was also happy I had to see the whole garden before I found what I miss the most (last 2 pics)!

Thanks so much for sharing! I only have tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and crocuses blooming so far. The cherry and plum trees just started blooming too, though....

You have a beautiful garden - just like I would have - including the pool!
:)
You understand the seasons here, then. I think my plum tree bloomed in Feb. this year! Glad you could reminisce a bit. Thank you for the compliments.
Its so beautiful! I live in an apartment and I have a small deck with a little sun, any idea's for me??? I have fallen in like with you!!
Thank you! In an apartment, the only way to go is with containers...small ones, or as large as your deck will allow. Stack them by using stands or carts with shelves...so many options...topsy turvy tomatos, carrots in pots, etc..good luck!
your gardens and yard are absolutely beautiful. where do you live that you have so much blooming this early in spring? i envy you. being in ontario canada, i don't see that kind of blooming until mid to late may.
thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks so much for your comments. I am in So. Calif., and you are right. February here is like May in the northern states. I grew up in Oregon and don't miss those winters at all. This is the most ideal climate in the entire world, as far as I am concerned. Now if we could just deal with the people issue (way too many)!
Definitely seems like the best place for gardeners. Your garden is absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks ChrysN. I think so, and spend countless hours mesmerized by it all.
