Introduction: A Girl in Rainbow Shades.

Technical guy with fast mind!!

I am 16 years old girl. My name is Akanksha Anand .I have great love for art....

THIS TIME I TRIED TO DEPICT FREEDOM BY DRAWING A GIRL HOLDING A CAGE LETTING THE BIRD FREE. I TRIED TO MAKE HER GOWN LOOK LIKE A RAINBOW. I USED MARKER FOR THE OUTLINING AND PENCIL COLORS TO FILL COLOR AND TRIED TO BRING UP A BEAUTIFUL ART WORK........

IT WILL HARDLY COST ABOUT 5~6 BUCKS AND ITS EASY TO DRAW. SO, HOPE YOU WILL LIKE THIS...

Step 1: MATERIALS REQUIRED

1.An "A4" size paper sheet.

2.Marker pen (Thick one)

3.Pencil colours.

These are the only three things required to make this beautiful art work. They are all easily available at stationary shops.

Step 2: Rough Sketch and Then Highlighting.

Draw a rough sketch of the girl with pencil as shown in the image above. For doing this first draw the outline of the girl and then draw leaf like pattern on the gown.

Next for making the hair and face of the girl use marker with thin tip and after which highlight the rest of the outlines(made with pencil) with a marker having thick tip.

Draw the bird and the cage using thin marker.

Step 3: Finally Fill the Blank Space Using Pencil Colors.

I used 9 shades in order to complete the gown ;namely i used these pencil colors...

1.Voilet

2.Indigo

3.Blue

4.Deep green

5.Light green

6.Yellow

7.Red

8.Orange

9.Pink

The upper body of the girl is filled with black marker.

This would look gorgeous done in stained glass. Have you ever thought of working with stained glass?

    Nice drawing.

I like coloring. I believe coloring is a good activity even for adults.

Your art work caught my attention because my adult daughter has an exotic bird refuge and she provides a home for birds who have been abused or neglected. Your picture reminded me of her purpose. I shared your instructable with her. Her refuge is cage free. I wish you the very best with your art work! Keep up the beautiful work~

    Thanks
I think you understood the right meaning of this art.
And your daughter must be proud of herself.

    adita sing,

Thanks for sharing this, I did not notice you had mentioned this in the intro. You have a beautiful talent and I will keep an eye out for more of your work! Exotic birds would look beautiful illustrated like you have done here.

I think my daughter is more proud of her birds than she is of herself for taking care of them. These birds are very very intelligent as she has been trying to teach them to communicate with her by teaching them to read, although they have a strong vocabulary they are difficult to understand because of their gravely voices. So they pick their answers from 2 index cards and if they don't choose one she picks up two more to choose from. Smirnoff has changed his choice of daily activities from feed the horses, take a walk and check the mail to check the mail, go for a walk, then feed the horses ( because) I started mailing him letters he separates the letters at the mailbox who the letters go to.
